World Aflame Tabernacle Church Fire

In September 2019, Becker Logistics was recognized for a very generous donation Jim Becker made on behalf of Becker to Word Aflame Tabernacle Church in Grayson, GA.

On November 11, 2018 the church was severely damaged after a heater caught fire. The church was locked and unattended at the time; the fire was discovered while firefighters were responding to another call. Investigators discovered that the fire started upstairs near the Baptist pool and spread downstairs. The sanctuary was completely destroyed and they lost everything. Since the fire, they have been raising money to rebuild and find a home. The pastor of this church is the father of our very own Becky Stanley. This tragic event was one that touched us at Becker Logistics. We are hopeful for the future of Word Aflame Tabernacle and can’t wait to see what God has in store for them in the future.
