The Quality Control team examine complex data and turn it into information and insight for managers to utilize and for key business decisions. The team helps assist in monitoring performances and identifying trends or issues. This role will also work to provide solutions on how to improve systems and processes. This role requires collaborating with all departments and all managers. You will work with numbers, data sets, computer systems and software, analytics, and be able to assist with legal issues, contracts, and other quality control related tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial data analysis and reporting for the management team
  • Manage risks involved with transactions, business contracts, customers’ credit limit, credit risk exposure, and insurance policies
  • Utilize different data visualization tools: Power BI, MS Excel, and Tableau
  • Handle a numerous of statistical projects using regression models and time-series to predict market trend and enterprise budgets
  • Measure and leverage ROI on different tools such as RPA and Management Systems
  • Analyze and visualize anticipating marketing trends, customer performance, and employee KPIs.
  • Help identify operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information’ evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; and then designing modifications
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Identify, understand, and communicate any financial impacts from operational changes
  • Process incoming requests for leads and monitor the sales support email
  • Move and manage leads and customers including marketing plans in the CRM for the sales team
  • Generate new leads as requested by the sales team on an ongoing basis from shippers/consignees and other means
  • Develop a systematized approach to generating leads that more specifically targets matching quality leads by industry to the strengths of each sales person
  • Onboarding and offboarding SOPs
  • Assist in the Daily Dashboards
  • Back up to carrier compliance team
  • Assist with legal issues, contracts, carrier contracts, business licensing, trend reports, and any other tasks assigned by management


  • Attend daily/weekly Outward Mindset Zoom Meetings
  • Complete 1 module on 3PL LMS each month to further your skillsets
  • 1 HR training each month
  • 1-on-1 with direct report and or CEO


What You Will Need:

  • 2 years of Quality Control or Data Analytics experience
  • 1 year of transportation, sales, or logistics experience is preferred not required
  • Holding your team responsible
  • Know and exercise your leadership style

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • McLeod PowerBroker or similar 3PL tools
  • Creating Reports
  • General understanding of SQL, raw and dynamically generated scripts
  • Relationship management
  • Knowledge of basic project management principles
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and results oriented
  • Advanced functions of MS Office products including: Word, Excel, Project, and Visio
  • Outstanding knowledge of automated test tools and performance
  • Interpersonal skills –this role works with different departments, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are important to work effectively with others
  • Problem-solving skills –this role will need to identify issues or ways to improve systems that are already in place, so critical thinking is necessary for success to troubleshoot and solve problems

This position is offered on a 3 month probationary period. Candidate will be reviewed at the end of the probationary period.
